Mystery Mart was created by Victoria and Eugene who were motivated by the opportunity to support local artists and make art more accessible, they saw the potential for a vending machine that could serve as a mini-gallery. The concept was not only about selling art but also about creating a platform to highlight underrepresented artists in the bustling New York City art scene.
Their first vending machine, uniquely adorned with artwork by local artist CIMAH, added a special touch to its visual appeal. CIMAH also created many items up for grabs in the machine as well! In February 2024, this artfully designed machine made its debut at the Brooklyn Art Cave, signaling Mystry Mart’s exciting entry into New York City’s art scene. By 2025 it reached Art Basel and many other galleries along the way!
